i was just wondering if theres any other iac valve that i can make work on a stock 88 DX motor. thanks in advance.

Not sure what motor a DX is running but when I looked at an IACV valves for my D16A3 (browntop ZC) in the gen1 crx a valve of a B20B (integra) motor fits - only thing is the pipes are different angles but easily sorted. I ended up getting a new one from Honda tho - for AU$80.

Hopefully you'd be able to match one at your local Honda wrecker?
