looking into buyin a 91 crx si. it is wrecked on the right side i have a few parts cars and i need to know if parts will swap over. any info would be great. thanks

right fender off a 90 dx hatch
radiator off a 90 civic 4 door lx
hood off a 90 4 door
headlight off a 90 4 door

i think that was all that was damaged. i havent looked at it yet but that is what i was given. also how much do you think this is worth, a 91 crx si with 240k needs typical body work, cracked windshield and needs all that stuff listed above let me know what you think. thanks

 

i remember reading a post a while back that said the 4 door hoods are different

 

i know that the hinges are different but i didnt know about the entire hood anyone else have any info?

 

Crx fenders are also different. I wouldn't give more than $500 for a crx with front end damage unless it was minamal, and the rest of the car was in great shape.

 

humm is there any way to modify themso they will work?

yes ur correct on that

 

as i know for sure anything that u want from a 4door wont fit, i know that the headlights are the same size but i remeber reading something that in order 2 use them u have to change the brakets.. correct if i am wrong

humm makes sence if the hood and fenders are different what about a hood off a civic hatch or does it have to be from a crx?

Go here, check to see if the part numbers are the same.
Make sure you check all the years too since most parts are 88 only, 89 only and 90+91 same.

 

good question.. i dont see y it shouldnt work wit a civic hood on a crx. i mean pretty much a crx and civic's have somewhat of the same front end.. if possible u may have a lil off set but i dont think nothing noticable
