Default 6th Gen Climate Control Swap?

Is it possible to swap a manual climate control system for the auto climate control, or will there be parts missing, like the temperture sensor?

you would have to install the sunload and temp sensors into the car and that would suck.............(dash removal for one)

Thanks. I'm sure I could find a mild place to hide the temperature sensor if I could actually get the sensor and wires themselves, but could I do without the sunload sensor? I'm assuming there would be mucho wiring involved as well, possibly involving a different plug for the control unit?

I know there's also different relays involved... but I can't remember the specifics.

Looks like this idea is down for the count...

I had considered doing the same thing a couple years back. When I started comparing wiring diagrams, I noticed that 1 or 2 relays were different. I ended up deciding that it would involve too much effort, just so I could be lazy and not have to change the HVAC controls... (Although it does look a bit nicer.)
