how to remove trim piece near back window on del sol?

how to remove trim piece near back window on del sol?
Does anybody know how I would go about removing the long trim piece that is along the rear window/trunk of a del sol? I realize I'll prolly need to get new tabs but I want to repaint this strip but have no idea how to get it off?
