Rubbing with Azenis
Wow, haven't posted here in a while.
Ok here's the story. My car was sitting in the garage since october 05 until yesterday. I got some new tires (205-50-15 azenis) and new suspension (GC/Koni/GC Tophats) now I installed it all and lowered the car. I've got about 3 finger gap in the front and it's still kinda rubbing when I turn. I haven't even lowered the car to the desired ride height yet.
What can I do?

Haven't examined where it's actgually rubing yet. It's only up front though. It might just be on the fender liner but I doubt it.
I've got an EH2 with a heavy k24.
Rims are stanard rotas. I bought em used but if I remember they are +40mm.

litterbox,
if you want to use those tires and get the car lower, you need different wheels. Either Honda wheels (Si, GSR, etc.) or step up to some less universal wheels. You need 15x6 or 6.5 w/ 45mm offset. 15x7 is tough to run at 40mm.

I've seen them a few different offsets at 6", 6.5" and 7" from different suppliers. Every mm counts. The wider the wheel, the more offset is required to help reduce rubbing.
15x6 w/ an offset of 45mm will put the wheel in as far as possible.

the azenis are also wider than most 205 tires, so that may contribute to the problem as well. ive seen both 211 and 217 (not sure which is accurate) measured in wheel/tire
there is more discussion of that in https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1547403

Yeah the sidewalls are really ******* wide. It's a great tire. I actually get traction in 2nd, lol. On the way home from work tonight I'll stiffen up the struts and see if that helps a little.
