Default replacing pistons + rings....

Can i replace the pistons rings and maybe rods by just works from the bottom of the motor such as take the oil pan off, remove the crank(if i have to?) and just slide the pistons out? i have just replaced the head gasket, oil guide seals and everything pretty much on the head but it still burns oil. So ya just wonder if this is possible. Thanks.

pull the head bro also if u got the headgasket and bolts and what not from acura take them back and tell them your head gasket didnt seal and they will replace all the parts as long as u have the reciept. I have done this many times saving me tons of loot. Also a good percent of the time your cylinder walls are going to be some what warped which could be the reason y your gettin some smoke.
