03 s2k that slow??
03 is the same as 00-02. (AP1)
04-current (AP2) will "feel" more powerful during normal driving b/c more torque. But they are both about equal as far as "fast."
More drivers will never get close to the actual potential of this car's handling or speed.

yes all the same
yes all the same
00-01 is actually a tad bit slower then the 02-03... however.. the 00-01 save on some weight. (non leather center console, plastic window)...
04+ are just easier to drive and fell faster in stop and go traffic... but when opening the cars up... it's about the same... and if you're lining up depends on what speed you're going at....

Test drove an 06 RYP. It doesn't like to be thrown into a corner, then powered out. It feels boring if you're trying to come in too hot, the VSC works noticeably then. To have it work for you, come in with full traction, then power out and let the VSC do its work to keep you out of the dirt.
Electronic ballast/dead weight. Throttle control + pedal control make a better VSC.

not quite. somewhat the same (different wheels, headlight's, bumpers, interior, spring rates, motor, etc)... i've owned both a 00 s2k and now an 04 s2k (since nov. 03). I would choose an 04 over a pre-04 anyday, especially since I can rev to 9k with the 2.2L (01ecu).
00-01 s2k's run extremely rich from 8000-9000rpms because Honda was afraid of leaning the motor out @ high rpm's.
02-03 s2k's - Honda decided to take some of that extra fuel out from 8000-9000.
if u get a pre-04, go with an 02-03.
if you want the best of the best go with an 04+ and get a 00-01 ecu, since it run's a little rich in higher rpm's and the new 2.2L will use that extra fuel.
