Default jdm da9 guage cluster

on the jdm gauge cluster, there are three warning lights to your right (when in drivers seat) top one is seat belt warning, the bottom one is for when the hatch opens, i dont know what the one in the middle is for, it has a funny looking symbol on it, like a wire or hose with steam coming off it (bad description), well i got a pic but i dont know how to post it, help me with that too please

That is for the radiator. The light comes on when the coolant temp switch on the radiator is higher than normal and the cooling fan control unit will operate the fans for upto 15min after engine shutoff or until the engine fan switch opens. This is located on the back of the engine block to the left of the oil pressure switch on the 90-91 or on the thermostat housing for the 92-93.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Please don't post if you don't know what you're talking about.

The light in question is a warning light to tell you if the cat is overheated. That's all it is.

It's the cat heat sensor. It will light up if you remove the cat or if the cat is blocked.

I wouldnt trust it as to say you need a new cat, b/c you dont have all the sensors for this correct?

I know a guy that had his seatbelts unplugged and that light was coming on (just an example of how the light can just be faulty)

i need this light off badly, got inspection coming up soon, i was told two different answers about it, one for the cooling fan switch and the other for the cat, i looked under my car(lowered 2 inches) didnt see much but i didnt see a 02 sensor on cat, theres one in front of the cat on header it looks like, im gonna replace all my o2 sensors, and if that doesnt work im gonna replace my thermostat fan switch. but has anyone other than myself experienced this light coming on in their da wit jdm gauge cluster, if so what did you do to correct the problem? please help me out

USDM integras are not equipped with a cat temp sensor. there is nothing you can do about that light unless you take the bulb out or wire in a sensor.
