What type of ECU with a turbo d16y7?

Default What type of ECU with a turbo d16y7?

I was thinking of boosting my d16y7 (97 civic dx) and cant figure out what ecu to use. Any help would would be appreciated. Thanks

The ecu you would need is a OBD1.

The conversion harness to get would be OBD2A to OBD1.

Assuming you wanted to go the chipped ECU route.

In addition to the previous post, a P28 probably.

i don't know why you guys are recomending p28 ecus which have vtec for a non-vtec car.

what you need is a chipped p06/p06/p28 (any obd1 civic ecu)

P06, P05 modified for 4 wire, or P75 will all do well when chipped.
