so i was thinking about getting a set of drag radials to put on my car,but i was wondering if my axels will hold up on the street cuz i daily drive it alot i had set of azenies and they dont get good traction and i got the money to get drag radials and was wondering if a lot of you turbo guys are running them on the street,by the way i got stock axels!!!!

Yes even with 300whp, you cant hook untill 3rd gear......
Id reccomend radials.

 

cool,the only thing im worried about is my axle breaking??? cuz i got beefy azenies 245's on and in third gear it breaks loose...

 

stock axles can take alot of pain, my buddy has been running stock axles in his 406whp turbo car that has a Kaaz LSD and Beefy Radials...

No problems yet.... although if you always launch i could see a problem coming.

 

Roll Racing saves axles ..

If you don't preload it at the track/street from a stop I could forsee lots of broken stockers in your future

 

im also worried about breaking my stock axles. after market axles are so damn expensive. its kind of hard to roll race when your at a drag strip lol. but the thing is i might not have lsd before season comes... will it be pointless to get drag radials?

 

ya im in the same boat i dont wana break them at the trip either and i aint got lsd...

 

Yeah, just make sure to preload before every launch and your stockers will last

 

preloading is a must to prevent breakage.

either way, go get yourself a set from your local autozone or NAPA autoparts. their axles come w/ lifetime warranty

 

410 whp here on 225/550/15 bfgs daily here... no problems ... just preload and don't completely beat the **** out of your car and they'll last. I know two 450-500 whp cars that daily them to with no problems.
