ive never seen or heard of a mugen sohc header, and the little mugen plate looks really cheap on it.

Mugen DID make D-Series headers, but that doesn't look like one of them. The flanges do not look like the ones Mugen uses and the plate on the primaries is upside down. I don't think Mugen headers ever had that big plate on them in the first place.

I can't tell for sure if that is a Mugen header or not, but I remember a friend with a Civic EX coupe that wanted a Mugen header and the Mugen catalog at the Honda parts dept/dealer had a SOHC Mugen header.

 

if they made a sohc non vetc valve cover i think the chance it's real is a pretty good one

my buddy has a MEGAN racing ebay header and that looks exactly like it... with a fake label on it.... just my 2cents

 

mugen did make a d16 header but it didnt look like that.

I didn't notice it was 2 piece. It's not looking like it's real man...

 

thats not a real mugen header its a fake,mugen tags there header on one pipe,not between two pipes,plus there is no JASMA certifacation on it,I wish i had pics of my ZC mugen header but i sold it awhile back

nope not a real mugen header. they use different stainless steel whitch looks like this then after its been ran for a long time. you can see the difference in the steel

 

kinda looks like this "SPOON" header. LoLs

 

that thing is sooo fake. just look at the welds
