aftermarket fog lights wired to stock lights help
i installed aftermarket fog lights, and they come with a switch that you turn on and off yourself, its quite annoying, so i was wondering if its possible to somehow wire them into the stock lights so they turn on with them? I don't care if they turn off with the highbeams on like they are supposed to.. i just want them to turn on with the stock lights.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Instead of putting more load on the headlight switch, it would be better to use a relays for each fog light. They can be wired under the hood to the low beam bulb wires.

Here is everything you ever wanted to know about relays:

Look at BOSH RELAY EXPLAINED and WIRING YOUR FOGLIGHTS.
Instead of using the dash switch you can connect to the low beam wires for power.

i looked at that, and it tells me to use a relay, but won't that mean i'll still need to use the switch? My goal is not have to worry about the fog lights being on when the car is off..even if i have to keep them on the switch they are on now. I can easily hide the switch and leave it on all the time, but when the car is off, i want them to be off without me having to do anything.
