need to get moving on my head gasket problem can't remove the head. My 14mm 12point deep socket dosen't want to fit around the nut.Is there a socket out there i don't know about that fits around this nut wtf help!

 

they aren't metric, try standard

 

I tried a 9/16 which is damn close to 14mm and tried a 19/32 which is a 15mm the14mm and the 9/16 are too small and the 15mm-19/32 is too big?

 

its a 1/2" 12 point

 

Yeah that sounds right. I haven't dealt with them for awhile.

every set ive done were 12mm 12 point

 

You need a 13mm 12 point deep socket.
