ok heres the deal i just put a new clutch in my ls turbo civic. so my buddy with a twin turbo supra wants to race me im like expletive it idc. so we go to race and my clutch slips from 5k up. so i put like 250 miles hard miles by the way. and it seems a litle better but slips from 6k up now. idk should i just slip the expletive out of it? also has lightwheight flywheel if that matters both were new at time. i dnt think i have ever sliped it taken off i usually just dump it because the whole car shakes alot if i dont. also if i go 25 in 4th or 5th gear matted it doesnt slip?? only high rpm wtf im confused????? cluch that i got is at this link

clutch break-in is supposed to be 500 miles before you go hard on it.

those F1 clutches are weak. my friends went out like in 2k miles. presure plate sucks.

 

first you need more that 250 miles to break it in second you got it off ebay third just scrap it and buy an act my friend. and also learn to break it in befor you rip on it. its like a chik you gotta get it wet befor you stick it in lol.

I have the F1 6 puck,,And I had it for while and it doesnt slip,,You probably ride it all the time,,You cant do that with any clutch,,but especially the 6 puck,,it will wear very fast,,

And are you sure its slipping and not the lightweight flywheel making it feel like its slipping..Because those revs go up and down much faster with the lighter flywheel..Ive installed these F1 6 pucks in many cars,,including 300+ WHP cars,,no problems at..Well besides chatter at low rpm,,but thats normal..

 

yea deffenitly slipping but its almost all the way gone it just does it if i speed shift . the dam thing is less than a week old i didnt think you needed to break in a 6 puck????
