Default please help

i have a 95 honda accord coupe. my tranny started leaking fluid the other day, so my mechanical told me it was the front seal in it. never had any issue with the tranny changing gears or nothing. so he changed the seal and since he had it broke down put 2 front axel in it 2. the leaking problem has stop. but now i notice the d4 light on the cluster is blicking all the time, no matter what gear i have it in. and also it seem to come out of first gear kind of quick and when it does the motor gets a very light tone, gets real quiet. but the other gears are not like that, they are fine. this other guy told me he thinks its my accelerator cable, because it has to much slack in it. but i dont have a clue. can someone please help with this

Have him recheck both the trans fluid level (he may have neglected to refill it) and for any wiring connectors he may have disturbed.
On that Transmission you have two shaft speed sensors, two shift control solenoid packs (two solenoids each) and a Vss (Vehicle Speed Sensor). All of which can effect both the Transmission operation and cause the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to set a code and start the D4 lamp blinking. Aggravating, isn't it?
If everything appears to check out, you'll have to retrieve the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code); which will help point the way.
