Default Rubber trim on the bottom of the window

Guys,

I was wondering if you can replace that rubber over metal trim on the bottom line of the window. Mine is all cracked and you can see some of the chrome trim.

Thanks.

I believe it's part of the side protector component. The part number is 72450-SH2-A00 (left door) and 72410-SH2-A00 (right door) ~ $46 each.

My trim below the windows are showing signs of wear too and I'm thinking of either painting it or changing it. Let me know how easy it is if you do it.

I replaced mine. It pretty easy. The only bad part is we took off the thick plastic molding that runs up the back of the door and the clip broke, and of course honda make the clips built into the molding. If I remember right we didnt have to take it off to put is on.

I have never understood why honda does the things they do. They dont sell interior clips seperate of the piece and who discontinues a left fog light and not the right?

Good info. I'd hate to break the clips on the door sash.
