i use royal purple in the engine and rp syncromax in the transmission. It works a lot better than syncromesh for gm cars. Or atleast in my tranny.

i used royal purple untill i found out they recalled it from some industrial areas that use it on there equipment because it cause "premature bearing failure" and i figured that was probably why i spun a bearing

where did you get this info. Because rp isnt an industrial application oil and would be prohibitivly expensive to use in machinery.

i use quaker state, used to use mob1 synthetic back when i gave a ****.

 

I use "motor" oil, the "710"..

Pennsoil 10w30 conventional, because oil changes at my work are free for me.

Look up the gc german castrol on http://www.bobistheoilguy.com it is their new hyped up product. Some have chemical anylisis done on theirs after running it. THis site really gets into lubrication.

 

castrol syntec 10w30 here. no complaints

royal purple is baller oil, i used it in my all motor ls, til i sold it.
