Default radiator question...

how's it going peeps?! i just had one question... my radiator on my LS is leaking massive so i gotta replace it.... just wondering if the GSR rad is a direct bolt-on??? like, do the fans bolt up to it just like the LS? that is... can i use the fans from my LS on the GSR rad? is there even any difference between the 2?

thanks alot in advance for any replies

are the radiators the same or is there an advantage to getting the GSR one? i think i heard before that the GSR rad is better than the LS one..... i called the acura dealer and spoke with the parts guy and he couldn't tell me ****! he was like, i only know part #'s, not specs... alot of good that did me!

so what better place than H-T to make sure...

thanks again..

PS. it's shameful and disgraceful that i don't know what time it is!

I don't see why they would not be the same... radiator isn't really for performance. You know you could call your local Acura dealer and they would tell you... I believe it will bolt right on though.

The fans DO NOT bolt up. The LS radiator was made by Denso VS the GSR is made by SHOWA.

if the radiators are of the same design you will most likely have the same problem you had before. personally I'm very happy with my new fluidyne because there's just no way it will fail like the stock on did. that is if your entire upper seal where the metal fins meet the plastic head is what failed. I have a 94 LS and it just seems to be the time of year for all our radiators to fail I swear I've seen like 10 people post that this just happened to them this month.

The GSR radiator isn't any better. After tracking mine for about a year, I blew mine. It still has cheezy plastic endtanks.
