Best headlights for a 94 accord?
Other than TYC, I wouldn't put any of that crap on ANY car.
I had a chance to inspect (in my hands) a set of the one-piece projectors (like those sold on ebay) and I was absolutely horrified (and I hardly ever use that word) about the total lack of quality. 16g wiring for the headlamp bulbs (old H series Halogens at that), no plug-n-play, no nothing.
I too was looking the improve my p..s poor headlamp output, and I looked at everything available at that time.
The "dawning light" was a phone call I made to an Internet Vendor's customer service desk, and asked of their selection. I was told that all but the TYC were for "show" only, and would actually give poorer performance.
At that point, I threw up my arms; said Scr..w This and opted for a set of new OEM headlamp capsules from 1AAuto Parts ($75.00ea). With a set of Silverstars, I've more light than I need (And I had to readjust they, they were bothering the oncoming drivers - a sure sign
)

If I did this correctly

In Chrome
And in Black:

You'll notice the DOT Compliance Card. TYC is quite proud of it.

Adam, for a long time now I've notice the help and great advice you give to people on here. I just wanted to say that I appreciate the help and honesty from you.
It's all about how terrible I'd feel seeing someone wasting money (like I've done in the past) if I didn't say something.
I realized it's often not recieved well; the opposing view et al, but what good would my advise be if it was all "that's good stuff"
Thanks for the encouraging word

where is it made? in malaysia, there are also similiar heads made from taiwan, but i heard from a fren who actually used the heads, due to their poor construction, the whole headlight melts when exposed to high temp.(xenon) so i whould say, go for the JDM type-R heads...looks nice, but theres quality... cherrios!
Well, as far as the question of where they're manufactured...
TYC http://www.genera.com/
Corporate Headquarters: Taiwan
Manufacturing: Taiwan
US Distributor: Genera Corporation, La Palma, California, is the North American distribution arm of TYC
My experiences with TYC?
'97 Accord Jag Red lens Tail lamps - Three years w/no leaks, no seperations and no deformities
'97 Accord Front amber lamps (OEM Replacements)
TYC # 12-1563-90 (replaces Honda 33302-SV4-A02) - Two Years w/no leaks, no defects.
Those EBay look alike **** distributed by the likes of DriverFX are crap, and it wouldn't surprise me for a moment about the heat issues.
