Default p28 and y7

Just bought an EG rolling chassis, came with 2 motors... etc. etc..

The ecu is a p28 and the motor thats going in is a d16y7.

Will this cause me problems?

Get a manual y8 intake manifold and youll be fine.

you'll need a conversion harness to make it work.
