F22B question
the JDM f22b is a DOHC with iron sleeves, therefore no releeveing is needed. Which means it can hold more boost than a h22 (stock internals) Atleast this is to my knowladge.

its just a dohc smaller iron bore h23. same stroke and rods as a h23 but 85mm bore and iron slevees,
there is no big deal, other than you can put forged internals in it easier and cheaper than an h22/h23 block.
here in the states a si came with an h23a1 in the japan they came with a f22b.

im in misawa japan i have a 94 prelude it has a f22b just wanted to know what would i need to do to make it vtec wouldn't a h22 head solve it all. isnt the block a h22 with h23 crank? just a question
Read the thread in Prelittlelude's sig... JDM F22B block is the same as a F22B2 except pistons. I do not see why you need VTEC though... I have a 'slightly' modified JDM F22B.

i saw the thread but still doesn't help too much. i have a f22 plain B not b1 or b2 its already dohc but it seems like the h22 head would go strait on. my buddy wants about 200 for the head but i really need to know what to expect. the similarities are uncany but does it work.
