Default new mani done, one step closer

well, i finished this off today. i'll post more pics later when i get the dp finished up and installed. i just used a high temp paint to make it look nice. i'll also probably be making up some brackets to bolt onto the turbo for support, but i think the gussets will help a bit i hope. it only weighs 10.5 lbs.

Aaron, as a house painter, I'm ashamed in you laying that thing against the wall. It looks super nice though.

I always thought mild steel long tube turbo manifolds wouldn't last, that's what I was always told. Not true?

I made this ugly mig welded mild steel 16ga turbo manifold for my old ford 2.3

I didn't brace it, no flex pipe in the exhaust and a heavy turbo sitting on it. Didn't have any problems with it the two years I ran it.
