How much can a thinner headgasked raise compression by?
OK I looked in the archives but couldn't find any posts on it. I was wondering how thick the standard gasket is and how much compression can be gained by getting a thinner one. I have a Euro spec ITR with standard 11:1 compression. Thinking ahead on parts I might want to have installed as part of a cam/spring/valve guide/(maybe valves) change.
do you have a particular brand in mind?
Mugen brings it down .4 points

Stock 1 layer raises about .5 if you use the black layer, .65 or so if you use the silver layer.
The Mugen doesn't do .4 if I remember correctly. Someone did the math and it was like .3, if that.
