Hello, Just like the title says I just took my car out about 15 min ago and after about 5 min. of normal driving my car started missing bad when i would give it gas. I also noticed that my CEL was blinking. Now, I did have the CEL illuminated for about the last 6 months with no problems. The code i was throwing before was "Fuel Curve Lean"......and nobody could give me a straight answer on what needed to be replaced. I am thinking maybe the primary o2 sensor. My car has new plugs, so maybe i need a new cap, rotor & wires?.....I dont know.....If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated

 

Ok, I just pulled the codes from my ecu.....1) P0171- System too lean 2) P1301- Cylinder 1 misfire 3) P1302- Cylinder 2 misfire 4) P1303- Cylinder 3 misfire 5) Cylinder 4 misfire.........I am now thinking maybe it is a clogged fuel filter? and/or a bad distributor cap/rotor/wires?.......What do you guys think?

check your spark plugs

 

sparkplugs are new and properly gapped.......I replaced the fuel filter today but after driving a while I still get the "fuel curve too lean " code........Anyone have any ideas?

 

bad oxegen sensor? fuel pump?

 

yes, finally figured the problem out........primary o2 sensor.......everything is good now.......thanks crv-techu
