Ok, i was driving home tonight, stopped at a stop sign. When i took off in 1st i was shifting the 2nd and my whole car just locked up. I tried to start it and put in gear but it would just try real hard to go, but wouldnt. So, me and a friend push it into a school parking lot nearby. I ask him to try to start it and move. It wouldnt go into 1st and he put it in reverse to try to move and it wouldnt go anywhere. So he puts into neutral and lets off the clutch, and it dies like it was in gear still. I got in and tried to take of in gear and got nothing, so i tried in neutral and my car would go, but it seemed like it was in 4th gear or so, i feather my clutch and gas and got my car to a friends house about 1/4 mile away and it was putting off a REALLY bad metal on metal / burning smell.So i pulled my cd face plate and locked my doors, and left it.

2 days ago i heard a rattle under my hood, someone said it could be my fork warped or loose. So yea, it was my daily and im pretty screwed unless someone knows a relativly cheap fix to this. Thanks.

your tranny is messed up. same thing happened to me. when i took off the tranny all these metal pieces fell out. lol
