Default Mugen exhaust

What is the advantage of a mugen twin loop exhaust? Will one fit on my 4dr ek? Also how much does one run and are there any other compaines that have twin loop exhausts?

Advantages? As compared to a stock exhaust? It's a littel louder and might make a little more power, but probably nothing noticable. A few companies make twin loop knockoffs of mugens and are much cheaper

Compared to most straight through, high flow mufflers, the twin loop offers a little more noise suppression.

What about the spoom sports N1 exhaust rear section? Will it be loud and will it pass emissions and DEQ?

Everyones definition of loud is different. Depending on what piping is used from the cat back, it may be too loud for some, and just right for others. IMO, it's not too bad as long as a decent resonator is used, to cut down on the raspy sound.

As for smog testing, as long as you're not getting rid of the catalytic converter, the exhaust should have no effect on emmissions at all. I'm not familiar with DEQ, so I can't comment.
