i just completed an h22 swap in a 99 civic, the install went great, the engine starts and runs fine. when the car is off it will go into every gear perfectly, but when it is running it won't go into gear at all. the master and slave cylinders have been replaced brand new from honda. any suggestions?

i had issues with my clutch. it had the same issues

 

its all good we figured out the tranny was filled with water, which caused the flywheel and pressure plate to rust together, put a new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel in it and everything is now perfect.

 

WHAT? Just curious, how did it get filled with water?

 

don't know a customer just brought it to us, for all i know it could have been sitting outside somewhere
