Motor sqeeks when i give it a lil gas

I get some kind of sqeek from the engine when i push the gas half way down. It wont sqeek if i floor it or jus give it lil gas. im pritty stumped i got a feeling its the belt. any suggestions?

check ur alternator belt..see if its loose

If you have an open-element intake setup, it is likely the normal "whistling" sound from air passing the throttle body plate.
