Throttle response.
When I am gunning it in the 94 Dx I have a tendency to slam the gas pedal to the floor. Doesn't my car come equiped with a computer that tells the fuel injectors that they only need as much fuel as they can burn? I would think that this would need to be true so that gas mileage isn't ruined by giving it gas that it cannot burn. If my car doesn't have this feature then i can understand why I only got 20mpg this week

Re: Throttle response. (The real Isaac)
umm think about it like this..for your engine to move faster i needs more fuel..so when u smash ur foot to the floor the engine is fed more gas and speeds up accordingly...constantly smashing ur foot will give u a lower gas mileage...thats why there is city mileage and highway mileage...think about it...u need more gas to do it..thats why if u sit full throttle through a couple gears u burn mucho gas

Re: Throttle response. (Hyjnx)
I dont't think you understood the question. I asked if it was controled by the computer so it wouldn't pump in the unneeded gas that it can't burn. Like when you punch it when your in a high gear.....
