H22a automatic into 2000 civic 4 door?
I was wondering if anyone has done this yet, and also if there is a kit for the h22a to drop into the 99-00 ek civic? This is for my wife’s car. It needs a boost in power. Is the auto tranny bigger than the manual, and if so would it not allow the motor to fit in the civic engine bay?
Also, wold this eliminate ac?

i have never seen this done only herd of it.
try hasport for the mounts. you do know there is no linkage ,,it is all cable you are going to need some welding for that .
And about a/c you can do it with modifacition of corse.
It's not really worth it
just get NOS or supercharge it

You realize that both the H22A and B18C when using an automatic need to have a TCM (transmission control module) wired in? The TCM is like a second ECU solely to control the shifting of the tranny.

The h22 makes more reliable power and more torque than the sc or n20. This is for my wifes car, she only wants auto. We drive in a lot of traffic. The car would run low 14's.
A gsr with a ls auto tranny would not spin fast enough to hit vtec. That would be useless.

Or else get a V6 Accord or something. *You know this car is for you, don't even try to pass it off calling it your wife's car*
