Default What would you do????

FINALLY ready for a swap!!!!
Delima:Found a complete B16Z6 in the crap yard. Can get it for around $400.00+(no tranny, wires extra..... ) But I can get a D15A6 Si motor AND tranny that came in the SI version of my 90 hatch.Maybe with wires, but defenitly a complete motor, around $500.00-$600.00

tTe Si would drop in, the other would defenitly need mods to fit.
Wich route would you go????

you got your engine codes mixed up

do you mean a d16z6 an a d16a6... in witch case the d16z6 imo... would be the better choice

D16Z6 puts out more power than the latter choice. Seriously, that would be the better choice imo as well. there are more things you can do with it imo. Of course you can do a lot but with the d16a6 as well, but you're starting out with a higher powered motor with the z6

ya Im be stupid, your right wuith what you said on the codes. Truthfully I would love to do the Z6 motor, but I have tried to learn was for the 90 Si motor.
I mean what axles, ECU, and harness's would I use??

for the z6 the stock axles will work cuz you can use the stock tranny.... you will need an obd0->obd1 conversion harness, a p28 ecu, obd1 sohc distributor and a 4 wire o2 sensor but i think it worth it in the end

especially for the tuneability advantages of the obd1 system.

does your yard guarantee engines for $400? cause that is a good price if it is guaranteed to start.
