I wouldn't throw that **** in my engine. If you are burning oil, it is just a bandaid. Fix the problem instead of masking it. If it isn't burning oil, leave it alone.

Lots of people I've talked to put it in their engines every oil change. Seems to work. I use it also.

My car was burning oil... later found out to be a small piece missing from my valve. You must find the root of the problem. That item did nothing for me.

for the record, im not burning oil, im doing this for all the other reasons this thing is used.

and its not some off brand bullshit, it has probably more popularity than seafoam..

well i'm going to be driving around today, so this morning, i'll throw it in, start up the ride, let it sit for a few mins to warm up, just so the stuff can circulate through out the engine, and be on my way

any others have any testimonys?

TIA

ya dont bother.. just wasting more money buying that ****.. either fix the problem, or just leave it and keep an eye on it.

how bad are you leaking oil? if you're not leaking or burning oil, then just leave it.

run a bottle of Seafoam through your engine. that really helps.

yeah but i keep hearing about how it might not help, because the carbon deposits are keeping the cracks and **** filled and keeping the compression up, then if you flush all that **** out, you might risk loosing compression.. thats why i thought i'd try this.. its only 4 bucks..

but what i will do is, put this is now, run it until my next oil change, since i just got one, then wait until my next oil change and put it in right before i take her in

It doesnt do anything but thicken up the oil .. THis leads to more varnish and ash deposits in the engine. Go to http://www.bobistheoilguy.com and research this product. There are a lot of intellegent people post this there and talk to an expert about it. Id recommend auto rx a product hyped on there. It will thouroughly clean deposites wherever their is oil . There is independant testing by users also. you cant buy it in stores. Use it and test it and review it. Seafoam is also a joke. I used it and then took apart an engine. All it might have done is washed the oil off my rings into the combustion chamber where it smoked and some out of the intake manifold. No professional race car team uses the ****. No automanufacture uses the **** and using it might just void your warranty. This restore **** does nothing either. Untill independant testing proves otherwise its all smoke annd mirrors. Dont rev your car on restore when it gets hot it turns brown and gums up the engine parts. Put some in a pan and cook it on the stove. Ventialtion will be necessary this stuff is junk.

then tell me this ht professionals.. what CAN you guys vouch for that is a pour in product other than seafoam..

no no no engine rebuilds, i dont have the money.. im not going to do anything drastic to my engine, just want some pour in **** that MIGHT hopefully do some restoration..

but again, i'm still going to try this can of ****, at least once.

oh and is it THAT bad to put .5 qt's of "oil" over? my dip stick reads exactly to the top dot, where it should.. but will this stuff be bad if i pour it in being .5qt's extra?

I must say that RESTORE IS A KICK *** PRODUCT. My friend uses it on every oil change on his 92 ford f-150 and it works amazing. Since the truck has 2XX,XXX miles on it, compression is pretty bad. He can always tell when he needs an oil change because when this stuff wears off, his motor seems sluggish. Then he changes it with maxlife and adds restore, vuallah, motor runs great again. I highly recommend this product to people who have low compression.

NO **** race teams dont use it. THIS PRODUCT IS FOR BAD COMPRESSION VEHICLES. Race teams do not use motors that have bad compression, hence they dont need to use this product.

As others have said before, this is only a bandaid. I have to say it is one hell of a bandaid. If you need to use this product, then you know ur motor has pretty much one foot in the grave. If you cannot afford to rebuild ur motor, then definitley use this product.

RESTORE

i dont think any kind of oil or engine lubrication that you pick up at walmart should go in your engine
