vtec light help civic!!!

vtec light help civic!!!
i was wondering if anyone know why my vtec light dont work. i wired the positive led light to the green/yellow wire on the ecu (vtec solenoid) and the negative to the chassie. The light goes on when i put the key on the ON position but when i drive to hit vtec it doesn't light. i also waited till the car warmed up before hitting vtec. so i dont know the problem
