Default Wheel Offset DA question.

I'm planning on buying wheels for my 93 DA Integra. The car has a 2" drop on Tein lowering springs. My question is..

Will a 205 width tire rub using 15x7, +40 offset wheels? Is that setup compatible, so i wont have to worry about fender rolling, etc..

Thanks in advanced!

well i had my 92 integra slammed on coilovers and 16x7 inch rims w/ 205/40-16 tires. no rubbing issues.

now I have 15x6.5 rims w/195/55-15 tires and its lowered 1.2 in the front and 1 inch in the rear and the offset is 40.

I dont think you will be having an issue.

and what rim are you buying that is 15x7? there are only a few of those i know of (Kosei, Volk, and Rota (but special order I'm sure of))

If you were a detective, you'd make a good one, because, my girlfriend is getting a set of Rota GT3's, 15x7. (Please no one start flaming if you have nothing nice to say about the wheel choice) We're just trying to decide between the gun metal color, and the silver. Her car is what I believe to be 'Horizon Grey'..but I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards the silver. We'll see, prolly gona order them today.

The reason I posted up this question was because, on my CRX, I was running 205's on 15x6.5" wheel, with a +35 offset. That was a bad idea! Rubbed like a ****, and at the time, I didnt kno anything about offset and tire to fender clearance. I kno the majority of Integra owners are usually on 205's, depending on offset. Thanks again

Mike
