Hey i just turboed my 94 integra w/a jdm B20B. Turbo pulls hard thru 1st and second but when i hit 3rd, around 4000 rpm the motor feels like its redlining and rpms are bouncing of 4k. here is my setup...

T3 turbo XSpower
rams head Manifold XSpower
Tial wastegate
XSpower BOV (not installed yet)
XSpower intercooler
Walbro 255 pump
RC 440cc injectors
AEM Fuel pres. Regulator
FMU 12:1
Check valves in place of missing link
Greddy Turbo Timer

any ideas on whats going on with this?? the o2 sensor is not installed yet. any info w/this is helpfull.. let me know

 

im having a similar problem.
i swapped a b20b into my gsr dc2
used the gsr tb
gsr fuel rail
ebay turbo
XS power wastegate
DSM bov
450cc DSM blue top injectors
chipped p72 ecu
missing link

the car will start and idle fine but if i feather the gas, it wont let me past 2k rpm's
if i give it WOT it will choke out and die.
i have no clue what to do

 

you both got it tuned? Tuning is the key to make reliable power.

 

if its not tuning had the same prob with a obd1 in an EK found out had to use the original TPS sensor. just a possibility

 

Do either one of you have a check engine light? If you do, what is the code.

When my car wouldnt rev past 4k it was the vehicle speed sensor that was not connected. It sounds really weird, but thats what was wrong with my car.

At 2k rpm, sounds like the TPS sensor. Try using the throttle bodie from the b20, or a borrow a friends throttle body that has a good working TPS.

 

trash that fmu and missing link, and get a tuneable ecu and a higher bar map sensor.

I don't understand why people dump so much money into a turbo build, then get all chang about money when it comes to the most important part....tuning.

To answer why you are revving only to 4k is because your ECU is in limp mode. To go into limp mode, your car needs to be throwing one of a few CELs which causes this. Pull the codes, fix the problem, then tow your car to a tuner.
