HELP ME WITH CLUTCH!!
me and a buddy just install a header into my 96 Gsr, it was a very first experience, well anywaise the old headers was easy to take out but the new header was a BITCH to be put in and it took us forever trying to put it in but then we kinda notice it was hittin this piece so we unscrew the bolt and the headers was put up, after puttin all the bolts in, we didnt put the two bolts that supported the headers by the cat converter but i think thats okay right? well anywaise after everything was done and we were gonna take the car for a test drive we notice the clutch was steppin in but wouldnt pull back so we look into the engine and notice alot of leak from the piece we took out that was in the way, and it was d/c so we r/c and everything hopin it will work but it didnt, i mean the car starts but the clutch wont pull back so i dont know what ever to do, the header is in and the car starts but when i step on the clutch it stays in and wont come out..I really need help because this is my only car to drive to work so if anyone and i mean anyone could help me out please do so i would appreacited it soo much..
that piece you removed sounds like the slave cylinder, the piston probably slid out and leaked, causing air in the system. Make sure its on the clutch lever correctly and try bleeding it, if that doesent work buy a new slave cylinder (they are like $20) and bleed it.
