I was going about 30 when i went over one of those small speed bumps. I bottomed out kind of hard, and since that, my car will not drive past 2000 RPM. I think i screwed something up majorly. While in neutral, i can rev all the way up, but when the rpms are on their way back down and i gas it, there's no response. In gear, it just cuts off either air or gas when it gets to 2000 rpm. I checked under the car and in the engine bay, everything looks okay. tomorrow i'm going to check the plugs and look into it further, but i'd like opinions from anyone who might know what the problem is. i think i may have jumped a tooth on my timing belt, i don't know... can anyone PLEASE help me diagnose my engine! What should i do?

 

try a diff ecu. That is most likely the case, especially if it has been reprogrammed.

 

hmm if it's not throwing code?

you could try resetting the ECU (it might have nothing to do with it but it won't hurt )
