I have a 1998 Civic LX, and the sun roof got stuck open on it, I know there is supposedly a "plastic plug" that fits a hex key to try and close the sun roof, but I couldn't find it on my car, anyone have any pics? Or any suggestions on how to fix it?

on my 95 civic there is a circle plug right in the middle above your rear view mirror..pop it out and inside will be the spot where you put the hex key

 

I checked and I don't see anything. The car was given to me, and I asked the person who gave me the car and they said the sun roof was put in after they bought the car, by Honda, but before they took it from the dealership, so I don't know if that makes a difference?

 

Then it doesn't have the plug. LoL, that sux man, ur only option is to cut away some of the roofing above hte mirror to access it :-\ Other than that I don't know how to access it

 

AHH!!! anyone have an ideas on fixing it? it just kind of made a grinding noise then stopped working, now I can barley move it back and forth (like 1/4 inch), but only the left side moves (when facing the front) and if I try to push on it, only the right moves (when facing the front).
