I just rebuild my B18 block engine and B16 head, and I already put 600 miles on the engine. I was going in reverse and I saw in the mirror some blue smoke. Now lets see the car has new pistons and pistons rings, so there is no reason to think in that option. Now the head my mechanic change the valve seal with aftermarket ones, and also told me that the Valve guides are a little bit lose, or bigs. Now my question is what in the lord name can I change to stop this???. By the way I am running 220 psi of compression that do not matter right ??

By the way I know that the color blue means oil....hehehe

 

I would assume its LOOSE VALVE GUIDES.


1) Let your pistons seat themselves.

2) what aftermarket valve seals? Loose=his fault.

 

yeap. I am going to order some VALVE GUIDE but I need some brands, do you know one. Also I am going to order some NEW SEALS
