Well,

I'm at a point in my life where I can either buy an 02-03 S2000, or a 2000-2001 Very well done clean, professionally done turbo'd ITR.

I've test drove both an 04 S2000 and an 03 S2000, and I liked the '03 better because of the higher redline.

I know both are very good handling cars, and I would probably do a little bit of Autocrossing this year.

I'd love to own an S2000, but for some reason whenever I drive them they always feel to slow for me.

Well anyway, let me know what y'all think.

I'm looking at Nishants S2000 (suzuka blue) or a Black 2000 ITR Turbo (280whp) that has A/C and powersteering, both in immaculate condition and both very clean.

Have you test driven Nishant's s2k? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't he have 4.77's? That wouldn't feel very slow

After owning both I'd say S2000, less of a theft target obviously, cheaper insurance, and overall a much "Nicer" car. If that's the kind of thing you're looking for that is. I'd take my S over my old R any day.

That's not to say that I won't own another ITR one day though

 

Really?! S2000 convertable = less insurance than an ITR?

 

Get the S2K. Burning the front two tires is basically the only thing you can do with the type R since it is turboed.

i think you got too much of my exhaust fumes when you were trying to keep up, it seems to have clouded your mind

 

Another thing I forgot to mention is that I'm 5'10" 240 lbs, so I'm not big, but I'm not small either. I've had some difficulty getting in/out of the S2000 when I test drove one yesterday.

Man, I'd love to own 280 whp car tho, but I'm starting to lean torwards S2000. Well, I'll decide after Nishant gets me those pics.

Agreed. And if you are only 5'10" and have trouble getting in go exercise some and do stretches.

and if you didnt know integra is the number 1 on the list of top stolen cars and type R i dont even wanna start

dont get me wrong i love my integra. But im always scared everytime i park the car in the parking lot i might not see it again. SCARY

LoL! Well, I made the salesmen scream like a little girl. Took it to 9k rpm's in 3rd around a small curve in the road. Hmm, I dunno, it felt like it pulled hard, but when I watched the speedo, it just didn't seem to really gain speed that fast.

Well, anyway, I've decided on the Type R cause I'm too lazy to excercise. If it get's stolen, well that'd suck, but I'm not going to live my life worrying about it. I'll get insuranse tho just in case
