Default Need help removing...

This is probably a dumb question, but i can't figure out how to remove the cable that attaches to the latch on the gas lid.

Here's some pics as to what i'm refering to. TIA




And in case anyone is wondering as to why i'm doing this, it cause im stripping the car. Here's a link to the project, if anyone cares;

It's 5:00AM and freezing outside, but I'll go outside and try to figure it out for you.

BRB.

EDIT:

Just twist and pull from the inside of the car. It's akin to remove light bulbs. You just need to align the tabs on the cable with the holes in car.

Perhaps he's going to install a hood pin to keep the filler lid closed?

I plan on getting it completed painted, exterior, interior, and bay.

If you look closely on the outside, the hole has squared off spaces. Twist and pull from the inside.
