Dont drive it. Drop the gas tank and rinse the hell out of it or just get a new one. Then clean out the fuel pump sock also.

first, your going to have to drop the tank. It will be a pain in the *** if you dont drop it. Then your going to have to fill it 1/2 way and swish the new gas around a couple of times and dump it out. This is not a 100% guarantee that all the sugar will be gone. Trust me though, the best thing is just to go get a used one out of a junkyard. Less than 100 bux. Then you have nothing to worry about.

I swear there was a myth busters episode about this, I thought they figured out it actually did nothing, other than clog the hell out of the filter and injectors.

You will need to drop the tank and get it all out, or go to the junk yard and find a new tank.

They did...it was on a carbeurated engine though. The sugar messes up the injectors i thought.

sugar doesnt do anything to your car but clogs it numb nuts!

you can drive it as much as you want... i had a friend that had at least a pound of sugar in his gas tank and didnt do a thing about it until after a year. he just took 30 mins at a gas station filling up.
