Default difference between 89 clutch and b16 clutch

my buddy is a doing a b16A1 swap into his 89 civic si. he is getting the b16, tranny, axels, ecu, shift linkage, and hasport motor mounts. he wants to know if he can use his clutch and pressure plate from his 89 L3 tranny on the b16 tranny. i didn't think he could, but wanted to get everyones ideas. thanks.

im pretty sure you cant use the clutch from your civic motor on the b16a. the correct clutch to use would be 90-91 integra. im assuming you have the first gen tranny as well. hope that helps
