Anyone have any sound files of the ES 2.5" in and out muffler? I'm looking to purchase one of these exhausts but would like to hear it first.

True, there has been many topics on the ES muffler, But I dont think no one has posted Soundclips

You are correct I could not find anything on the sound clips of the es muffler. It seems that people are saying it's loud and others are saying it's not. I haven't been able to find sound clips on it though. There was a post earlier on how someone took a sound clip of their kakimoto and it just got me thinking if someone had made a sound clip of the es muffler. I have not found any on here yet or any other boards.

Ok, here's a easier question. How loud is the 2.5" in/out muffler compared with a apex n1 and a greddy exhaust?

 

IF your talking about the ES oval, go ahead and get it. I have one, but i dont have sound files.
I first had it put on without the resonator, but just to try to keep the sharks away i had the resonator added. i would say try it with out the resonator first then if thats to loud add the resonator. Its nowhere near the sound off the raspy *** N1...
paint it flat black and it will look like a stock exhaust.

 

My friend has the ES oval muffler and its really really quiet He runs no cat but has a resonator. I cant believe at how quiet it is. Probably a little louder then a Civic DX with an intake LOL

 

i also got that ES oval muffler on my car....im running a straight-pipe with no resonators 2.25 inch piping from my old tanabe muffler.....pretty damn loud if you ask me....but no one knows where it's coming from

 

I WOULD SAY that its because you dont have a cat or resonator... straight pipes have no type of resonator in them so that will make things get loud.
