hey there i purchased a 94 integra and everytime im driving and i hit the gas pedal i hear a weird noise coming from under the hood. the noise isnt loud at all but i notice everything, it almost souds like when i push the pedal gas pouring in, maybe like a runing water sound or an electrical sound?? anyone know what this could be, thanks for the help,

how old is your clutch?...becuase that may cause the problem too...i experienced that before

 

i suggest you pop your hood and listen to the sound w/ ur car on and running... may give you a better idea of what it is. Check clutch, check oil levels, check heat shield, until i get a better description thats about all i can think of

 

Do you have a cold air intake? If it sounds like a whistleing sound than thats just the cold air

 

Maybe you have a vacum leak, just throwing out some ideas.

 

thanks for all the input, yeah--i had acold air intake but cut the piping so now its a short-ram because it was getting all kinds of little rocks and dirt in it n **** --it wasn't that healthy when i bought it. it could be that, ill let every1 know--thanks

I had the same noise to and i still have it when i accel but it dont bother me.

 

well this hasnt happened with the teg but on my tempo i heard running water noise or it swishing around, found it it was the resivor for the anti-freeze, check your anti-freeze levels (not just the plastic resvoir) just incase. made it go away on that pos

 

I bet you the noise comes out when you start the car and take off. ive heard that before on many cars. its just the Coolant traveling thru everything. you hear it especially whe it travels thru the heater core. im pretty its that
