Default ARP head studs...

hey guys i am looking to get some ARP head studs for my dohc zc...i cant find any for the zc could i use head studs for a different engine?
any input would be appreciated

you have to use some for a 16v VW, they work fine. go to http://www.thezcr.com they have lots of info, just search for head studs and it should come up.

you can use the b16 head studs, one needs to be cut down though

i read in here http://www.thezcr.com/forums/s...studs that the VW ones dont thread right...but the D16A1 ones work for the black top zc's

Does anyone know for sure?

Head Studs ARP
Part # ARP 141-4204 same as Dodge Neon SRT-4

here is why you don't want the VW studs - only have about 1/2 of the threads in the nut

According to a machinist book I read, only 3 threads are actually carrying the load.

Its the dodge srt-4 ones i used them they fit like they were for the zc good luck
