wow, is it just me or did anyone else have trouble reading that? Punctuation and complete sentences are your friend.

anyway, about your question. I think it's an easy one to answer. It's your car so you should do what you like or feel is best. Don't do things just because other people say you should or because they think it'll look nicer. I'm not one for body kits, but I'm not going to tell someone they need to remove their body kit because I feel it's ugly. It's not my car, it's yours, do what you want to do.

It's all a matter of taste, and personal preference; and ultimately your choice will determine if you're going to make a personal statement of independence or if you're going the weener out and conform to what you think others want.
It's you car and your money; and your happiness with it is what's important.
Either guys' like you stand your ground or the whole thing will be reduced to just three car types and everyone will have the half nude Asian GF spraulled over the hood.
No Thanks
Personally, I've a Xenon F&R Lips and rockers set-up going on in the Spring. (very Conservative).

back on topic, like the others said, it's a matter of personal preference. for me, i wanted a body kit but it cost too damn much for me to get it especially since i'll have to pay for shipping to hawaii. i scored a used wings west kit for my car and it's going on and getting painted later this month.

c'mon, we've all seen the REAL NICE SHOW car that looks like it can go 0-60 in 8 seconds but blows smoke out of the exhaust and breaks down every 5 blocks. then we've seen the car that looks like it'll stall out at 20mph but can beat a WRX STI like there's no tommorow.

it's all relative to your goals to your car, your objective in desire, and your price on taste.

i think my english teacher just **** a brick. but anyways, its all a matter of personal taste. if you listened to other people and did what they told you, you would hate your car. it wouldnt really be yours. it wouldnt be what you wanted it to be.

a jdm accord will start off the vin number with a J, not a one, or at least will be right hand drive and have kanji engine tags

i beg to differ, there are left hand drive vehicles that are made in japan. but the vin is correct! i think people say their cars are jdm because they use the smae parts a japaneese tuner would use, making them "AUTHENTIC JDM PARTS" not realzing that they are falling into the hole of following a crowd. yet we all follow a crowd, that is how imports came up so quickly. if you like jdm go for it, if you like body kits enjoy. if you like sleeper even better. its all up to u

P </TD></TR></TABLE>dude, i'll wait forever for anything to arrive if i ask for UPS Ground since they do offer it now. i usually pay a lil bit extra to get some parts in 2 day air FedEx. i save some money by shopping online than going to a local shop.

i think he has somewhat of a point.i wouldnt go so far as to call JDM gay, but it seems that everyone is using JDM this and that because they are following the crowd. correct me if im wrong, but parts made in the US probably look and work as good as the ones from Japan. i dont kow about you but im not gonna pay hundreds of extra hard earned dollars just cause the body kit i want was made in Japan.

Yeah there aren't many kits for the 4th gen. I have the Xenon on my wagon. I think its the better one for the 4th gen. Its not fiberglass like most. My ride is like 2.5" from the ground at its lowest point so the Xenon kit suits me fine because it will flex and bend over bumps. But all in all, it all perference. But the Xenon is basically a cover up type kit. You use a few screws and M3 tape to stick it to your existing bumpers. Nothing comes off.

JDM is just the new "rice". Before, bodykits, neon lights, and all things Fast and the Furious were the thing to do. It was a trend. Now, the trend is JDM... Overpriced parts, carbon fiber intakes that are outperformed by their AEM counterparts, 20 year old rims that are "uber cool" again just because they were made in Japan, bumper lips, blah blah blah. Why? Just because they were made in Japan?? Whatever...

It's just a damn trend. One day, all things "JDM" will be called rice, too.

Do what you like with your car. It's YOUR car. YOU are the one that looks at it everyday and drives it everyday.

Since this thread is all messed up... ...I am looking for a lip kit all around my 97 4dr...
I want the greddy front lip... found one on ebay for more than 300 shipped. Is there anywhere else I could get one for cheaper? Or... is anyone out there selling a Greddy lip for accord?
Does any one know where I could get side skirts that are commonly called "mugen style"?
Anywhere I could find a rear bumper lip???

Any websites, any thing????

the going price for a greddy lip has always been in the neighborhood of $250 to 300.
