If you're concerned about light weight, you must be racing the car. In which case you should just get a custom exhaust consisting of a light weight muffler and a turn down. Just run the exhaust straight out the back and turn it down before the gas tank.

It will be LOUD though. Is there a specific decibel limit for your particular form of racing? You could always making a flange to clamp the turn down onto, so you can point the turn down away from the sound meter at each specific track.

Actually, the Spec II really isn't that much lighter than the Spec III (if at all), but damn it is a TON louder.

I go custom before I ever purchased a Spec II again.
