Sanding CarbonFiber Canards......!!!???

I just picked up some CarbonFiber Canards from C-Wings...just wondering what # sand paper i should use to sand down the canards so it would fit flush with my front bumper....any ideas?

If your just sanding the edges theres no reason you cant use a 220 sand paper.
