Question on potential race
Alright. I have a question. I have decided to potentially put up some money on a race wiht a SRT-4 Neon. I believe it's all stock besides a BOV. I have a 1994 honda civic, stock internals, greddy turbo kit but with a chipped Uberdata ecu and 450cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump. I am thinking about running 9 lbs of boost. Also, have exhaust. 2.5 inch. All interior, stock 14" steelies. Gonna be tuned to 9 lbs. so you think i could potenetially win????

So thats one SRT-4 driver who doesn't know how to drive, dosen't mean all SRT-4's can only do 14.3. SRT-4 vs boosted SOHC, it'd be close assuming (and thats they key word) that you both know how to drive. do it on a track where it will also allow better traction and a number at the end, so atleast you'll know what your car is capable of.

Street racing isn't dangerous as long as its in a straight line and not on a road with houses or anything nearby. Everyone around here (Jackson, MS) street races on a street called Beasley every weekend night. It is very organized and safe. It is an industrial area where nothing is even open at night and there is absolutely no traffic. I understand that street racing that takes place on busy streets is stupid and dangerous. Even then, none of you can honestly say that you have never had an improptu race with some little *** with a riced out civic that keeps revving at you just to show him how big a pile his car really is.

I can say i've never street raced...Ever. Its pointless, ok you beat this car, so what....that same car with a different drive may woop your ***. Race at a track with times, then you know, hey...my car ran 14.1 thats the same as C&D can get with a S2000....not I raced a civic and won, then raced and Ford Fiesta and lost...who cars. Street racing, whether done in straight line on abondoned roads is still retarded. How do you know that other driver is not going to expletive up your car? How do you know you won't hit some drunk walking across that abondoned area...track is safe, do it there
